Coolant bypass is correct. Drivers side would t into the coolant crossover and the passenger side goes to the radiator cap otherwise

Everyone that buys an f-body bypasses those coolant lines. All they do is heat the TB. I'd leave them as they are unless you are looking to turn the car back to 100% factory spec for some reason.

The looped hose in this shot is not a coolant bypass. Looks like this was converted to LS6 PCV system.

Same with the LS1 GTOs your guy was just lazy didn't get the little covers for them.
