Default Fat Willy's Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs

From the man that brought you Fat Willy's Slow Cooker Hot Wings, I bring to you my Baby Back Ribs recipe. These ribs you can eat with a fork and fall off the bone.

Ingredients
  • 1 - Ribs of Your Choice
  • 1 - Bottle of Favorite Barbeque Sauce
  • 1 - Favorite Beer: Lager or Ale
  • 1 - Small Onion
  • 3 - Cloves of Garlic

Cooking steps. (9hours total)
  • Layout your ribs and cut them into manageable lengths that fit your slow cooker.
  • Season Ribs with salt and pepper
  • Dice Onion and add to slow cooker
  • Crush or dice Garlic and add to slow cooker
  • Pour half a can/bottle of Beer in slow cooker
  • Place ribs in slow cooker meat side up.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Carefully transfer Ribs to a cookie sheet
  • Spoon some of the drippings over the Ribs
  • Apply generous layer of Barbecue Sauce over the Ribs
  • Back for 15 minutes
  • Transfer to plate and be careful as Ribs are super tender and will fall off the bone
  • Serve and eat.
  • Wait for everyone to say they are the best Ribs you've ever had and why do no restaraunts slow cook their Ribs.

Got these babies marinating overnight. Will add onion and garlic in the morning before I leave for work.

They came out pretty decent... the ends were excruciatingly dry though. Felt like the fucking Sahara in my mouth. But the rest of it was fall-off-the-bone.

Really didn't care for the results. Didn't need 8 hours, 6 was too done for me. just falling apart. Didn't really care for the taste. Fall off the bone OK, fall apart not so much. May try again using apple juice(6oz), BBQ sauce(4oz) and a tablespoon of liquid smoke. Prep the ribs with my WF rub.

Interesting to try though! Thanks!

I do mine in the crock pot, low 8 hours.

I season the ribs with the famous daves seasoning.

instead of beer, i use dr pepper, a chopped onion, a cup of bbq sauce, and some liquid smoke.

after the 8 hours are over. i removed (very carefully!) from the crock pot and place them on a baking sheet. put a thin layer of bbq on each section and broil them for a bit until the sauce starts to char/bubble a little.

perfect, each and every time!
