heads and gaskets

Hey guys... my SVO 2.02" aluminum heads were off of a 351... I am now going to use them on my 302... is there anything I need to do to make them work or will they simply bolt right up?

as far as gaskets are concerned, what does everyone recommend?
I was thinking that since it is still so close to a stock application (stock bottom end) that the standard Felpro head set (gasket and bolts) will be OK... my biggest concern is the 351 heads on the 302. will things like coolant passages have to be blocked off or drilled? what about head bolt sizes?

mind you I am not going to groove my heads to accept O-ring gaskets because I am not going to boost the car or use N2O, I am going to run N/A.

what about intake gaskets (5.0 cobra intake) and header gaskets (tubular shorty headers)?

get felpro 8548pt2 or 9333pt1 head gaskets.. you will require the T-washers for the head bolt holes that adapt the 7/16 bolts from a 302 to the 1/2holes from the 351... they are about $30..

what is the difference in the two gaskets you mentioned?

what about intake gaskets and header gaskets?

who carries the "T" washers?

one has a stainless fire ring and the other has another material fire ring.. i usually use the 8548pt2 gaskets on alum heads..

The t-washers are available from summit..

intake and exhaust gaskets are the same... probably 1250 intake and 1415 exhaust
