fix those pesky mirrors!!!

I recently had this annoying problem with my drivers side mirror shaking uncontrollably. I found the fix, and good news it is really easy to do.
so here goes...

Step 1.
Remove the mirrors ( easier than you thought)

(side view)

(use the screwdriver to gently loosen all the clips sorrounding the mirror)

now remove that crappy old gasket!

this is the old gasket used to reduce road vibration. ( throw away)

now use some 1/4" weatherstripping to make a seal around the inside of the connector. also make cross in the middle!

Last step (install mirror)
now here is the tricky part.

start by installing the clips closest to the windows.
using a circular motion install the rest
don't get frustrated, and be sure to get all the clips.
