what will it take to fit a 11 inch clutch(99-01) into a 99GT?

I think the 99gts are 10.5 inch and the 99+ are 11 inch. if i just get a 99 cobra flywheel will it bolt right up? nothing I need to do soon, just wanted a bigger clutch for a better pedal feel since it will be a Daily driver. the clutch now is still as a board dont know why, owner said it was stock and he never changed it.

You need to know if you have a 6 or 8 bolt crankshaft. All cobras were 8 bolt. The way I recall it, the 4.6 Romeo 2V was 6 bolt and the Windsor was 8.

If you have a 8 bolt crank then all you need is the FRPP 11" clutch upgrade which runs about $240 at Summit

Is there any way to tell without ripping the tranny out i.e. vin number or some code on the door etc?

other than the clutch and pressure plate is there anything else I would need assuming the flywheel is a 8 bolt?

1/2" more surface area results into 10% more capacity accrording to FRPP
