I looked at this thread and almost typed what you just typed. Yes, the restriction backup in the intake, between Blower and the heads, is what one's boost gauge is normally referencing.
The worthless piece of marketing spin he's looking at attaches BEFORE the intake of the blower i.e. atmospheric side. To add restriction downstream would mean that more atmospheric air must be ENTERING the blower, all other things being equal. THAT, if true, would be a good claim.
I've looked into them, and similar devices offered by others, but never ran one myself.
That said, get an "Intake Tornado" instead.:lmao::lmao::lmao:
