Kenne Bells have been louder from what Ive seen in the past. I havent heard one of the Whipple 3.4 yet. Lots of KB videds out there on streetfire, youtube etc....
I never even got my KB 2.6 on the car.

Night and day difference in sound. With mine I can hear and faint whistle but that only because I have the GB belt on there IMO because when I had the Gates belt didnt hear much. The KB is a loud mutha plain and simple.

If you want quiet go with the Whipple.....even my ported Eaton was louder:biggthump

They both whine, but the KB is a lil bit louder and more high pitched IMO.

They both sound awesome though, no question there.

difference IMHO opinion is. whipple sounds close to eaton when KB has totally uniqe whine. (kinda thinner sound)

Yea KB is louder it has a high note sound, the whipple is kinda of a silent version of the eaton. Whipple is a bad ass blower though you wont go wrong.

KB scream is much louder than all the Whipples that I have seen so far. Personally I like the KB 2.2 scream best of all because it seems to be the loudest but I might just be a little partial.

my 3.4 at only 19psi (slow for that blower, lol) sounds more like an eaton, at lower boost, just louder. The KB's sound more like the rushing air of a turbo with a high pitched whine. IMO KB's are annoying after a 10min of in car, but thats just me.

Btw, my car has an o/r-x and is obnoxiously loud and I can still hear the whipple. I cant wait to quiet down the exhaust and spin this bitch to 23lbs!
