we'll see what it looks like on the fall sample. hopefully it was just a chunk of crud in a bearing.

W/ the amount of miles on your car, a little bearing wear isn't that bad.

The good news no coolant or other crap in their! :biggthump

the test kit is free, the test is $22.50 and I recommend spending the extra $10 on a TBN test [the first time, or periodically] if you're interested in an extended oil change interval. I've gone as far as 6000 miles between changes without problems in the sampled oil. I did 4100 miles AND a road course track event on this oil where my thermostat stuck shut and the car got as hot as i ever got it.
