twin turbo vs. single turbo

Twins. Less spool up time for the same power. Look into the HP TT kit. You will need to swap intakes with an NA 4v car tho

Single turbos are more or less for 4 or 6 bangers. Even the v6 guys do twins most of the time. One turbo for the passenger side head, other turbo for the drivers side head...

twins will spool faster and make more power but there is a added cost. Honestly my single kit is hard to get traction with and it makes alot of power. A single if done right can make good power as well as quick spool time.

If you have the money, twins are better, BUT i saw a 03 cobra with a hellion big turbo kit 88mm turbo and it looked sweet.

single is the way to go less shit to worry about, they will make the same if not more power with the right turbo, do a small frame 80mm and you will make 800rwhp easy, I have the hook up on thp if you need a good kit

With the twins there's alot more piping, resulting in alot less space and things having to be moved around/rerouted. which can be a pain in the ass.......twins will be a bit shorter spool time and can make more power. Example: hellions single 76 is maxed out at around 850hp, My Twin 57 THP kit will make somewhere between 900-1000hp. However if I did it all over again I would have went with the hellion single, 900-1000 on the street is going to be a waste, i'm sure 800-850 would have been fine. So with that being said its all about lag time and HP levels you looking for.

I don't know much about turbos but I have always said if I did go turbo I'd get twins.

I'm sure there are set ups that match up with each engine.

Call shops that are experts in turbo systems and work with them...
