Anyone know what in the hell causes this chirping noise in the dash? Sounds like it coming from the passenger side near the windshield.

It's getting louder and really pissing me off.

The best way to look for squeaks and chirps is to start pushing around on trim pieces, make them flex a bit. Check around the defroster vent, it's probably something in that area. Also look at the a-pillar trim on that side, it could be rubbing the dash and causing a squeak.

Whatever it is, it's in the dash. I've pushed around on everything on top. I also took the glove box and pushed around in there. Nothin'.

It's big chore to pull the dash isn't it.

Mine just started a large chirp in what appears the same place as you describe.

i had the same problem, i just got really pissed off and hit the dash as hard as i could, and it stopped

A lot of New Edge's have this problem. Its usually the plastic cowl rubbing...I know, I know, it sounds like its in the dash, but its not always. If you search on SVTP for "chirp dash" you'll find a thread explaining how to fix it.
