chip?

I dont know if my car has a tune with a handheld device or chip, i have no clue where a chip on this car could be located at, can some please inform me where i might find it if there is one???

It would be pluged into your PCM which is under the passenger side kick panel, in the footwell.

In the 99 Cobra it was right by your right knee (drivers side)
(but this was also the Hypertech)

Behind the pass. side kick panel is where you pcu (silver box) it will take some wrangling to get it out. Plugged into the PCU will be a chip if it has one that will say something like diablo or SCT etc. The former owner may have used a flasher in which case you won't be able to tell without plugging in to some type of diagnostic system. well i know its gotta a tune but like the lightning i used a diablo, the cobra has a SCT MAF and cold air kit but i wanted to check ans see if its had a chip and where i might find it.... with the MAF installed do u think i have a flash or chipped tune?

The MAF really doesn't say anything about the type of tune.... would be best to just remove that kick panel and check out the PCM.

Allows more flow than the stocker. The stock MAF on the 03/04 can be easily pegged around 475-500 HP.
