Posi Or New LSD

My truck has just under 30K on it and the LSD just isnt getting the job done anymore i think the previous owner got his fair share of use outta it. So my question is...Is there any good psi-traction systems made especially for our L's or will any posi for ford and our size rear end work?...If not does anybody know where i can get a new stock lsd besides getting jacked by ford for one?

You can buy the clutch pack to rebuild your LS through Ford. It is a fairly simple job to do. The stock clutches are only good for about 40k mi.

will this make both wheels spin at the same time more frequently?
because as it is now the LSD only allows me to do two wheel brake torques every once in a while.

Yeah it will fix that for a while. You can also put the larger shims in the clutch pack to lock up tighter. Burnouts are fun but they kill the LS. You'll probably be better buying a new posi.

any suggestions to which brand posi i should get and i believe i need one for a 9.75 inch rear end right?

Yeah you have the 9.75. I don't know about what diff. I have been trying to figure out the same thing for my Mach1. Check with the guys over at http://www.nloc.net[/URL] they'll give you some good tips.
