Ummm, pull out the headlight knob half way soon as you get in the car

I want it to turn on automatically, without pulling the light knob.

I have my fog lights switched to on, so if I pull the light knob, both the amber lights and the fog lights come on.

I just want a way to have my amber lights automatically come on when I start the car without the fog light on (Until I pull the headlights knob at night). It works this way with Corvettes and many other GM cars.

Isn't that because they have Daytime Running Lights? Is that what you want, DRLs?

Those are the DRL's daytime running lamps on the vette. For our cars all you need is the DRL fuse which is standard in Canada. But, it will run your high beams at 50% power or something, or the low beams, it won't turn on the amber lights - that's a GM thing.

Yup, I guess it is the DLR's but with the amber lights.

Is there anything that can be done to get the ambers for DLR's and not the headlights?

Pull headlight knob halfway AND push button to turn fog lights off. LOL

Yes, it involves some wiring diagrams and a little funky engineering. But I believe it's possible to get the relay for the DRLs, and rewire it to operate the parking light circuit.

When I traded in my Firebird on the Cobra, one think I really liked was that the Cobra DIDN'T have DRLs.

It just takes a relay and some re-wiring to rig your running lights to come on with your ignition..........and also a couple hours to trace the wires down if you don't have a wiring diagram.
