I need help with suggestions regarding a roll bar for my 04 Cobra Convertible. I have heard two people mention Autopower but I can't find much info on the internet. I also have looked @ Steeda's catalog but I am not sure if this bar is for me.
Steeda 017-70278 Drag Race Bar for 1994-2004 Convertible

Steeda 017-71271 4-Point Bolt-In Roll Bar for 1994-2003 Convertible or

I have found two other places on the net, one appears a do-it-yourself we sell you the parts (They do have a lot of options)
http://www.autoweldchassis.com/rbc.ivnu
options available; Road Race side bar, Swing Out side bar KIT, "M" Bar side bar (easy entry), Etc.

My car is a daily driver for 6 ~ 8 months a year. My main consideration is something that will both look good and function correctly. I see that a lot of the events do not like vert's w/o a roll bar. I also like the look of a well designed roll bar or cage.
Another place I have found makes custom bars. I am leaning toward a custom bar/cage although the cost is enormous. The following company produces the sweetest bars I have seen. The problem is that they are 1000 miles from Tinley Park.

98' Cobra Vert 6pt Roll Bar w/swing outs

and the cats ass, 99 Mustang Cobra Custom Roll Cage (Bars go through dash - real sweet looking :biggthump)
http://www.rhodescustomauto.com/99cobracage.htm
The Roll bars from Rhodes are running about $2500 for Chromoly (sp?) bar and $3800 for Roll Cage through the dash. Very expensive, but quality looks phenomenal to me...
If someone out there has a 03/04 Cobra Vert w/ a Roll Bar/Cage that would be very helpful to me if I could see some pictures or see it close up in person would be ideal...
Any suggestions?
Does anyone know someone that does excellent custom work? Should I go with a stock bar like steeda or "do it right"?
Damn, this car is begining to get expensive...
