New spring install questions.

I got the Steeda springs for my '03 Cobra today. How much for someone to install or does anyone here have the tools and would like to help out? I definately dont have the tools and the only jack I have is the one that comes with the car.

I think Victor is performing that experiment right now, but it is not working.

I think Ray and Mike just did this so they may have some good insights for you. I know that a srping compressor is the answer, makes the job 10X easier.

I have the correct spring compressor [plates and threaded shaft-type] but my working area is a gravel alley [garage full!] and my weekends are very full through october.

my 2000 cobra R rear springs have been on agonizing backorder for months now. perhaps if i had all my parts i would be more ambitious.

what say we line up a few spring installs for a *cough*mokena tech session*cough*

Merlins in Naperville off Odgen next to Portilos did my exhaust and might do my springs when I have the cash. Just ask for Bill and tell him the guy with the silver Cobra that they put the Magnaflows on sent you. He told me about 175 or so to do it I think.

I'm going to find a place today hopefully to do the install. Would tire place be albe to do it? I want to get BFG 275\40\17 drag radials for the rear too. Since the tire has to come off anyway, why not?

Where and when? I'm all for "mods for hooch". So far I have the springs in the trunk but thats as far as I've gotten. I bet I could do it myself but the car would only drive in a circle.

My steeda springs are also in the trunk of my car. I dont knwo how ot do it. I would also like to go to Mokena and have a mod party. I have to see someone up there anyways. Lets do it. But i dont know how. I would even pay someone to do it. I just dont want to spend an arm and a leg. I would rather i see it go towards someones mods on their car.
