Can my car limp 100miles with......

..... 55s and no tune? Im contemplating putting in 55s with the new blower, but would need for the car to be able to make it to Speed Inc without blowing up/dying on me.

Will I be okay, or should I find somebody with a trailer?

If you already have a chip, send it to them and have them do a ballpark tune on it to get you there. I think you will be adding way too much fuel for that long a drive. You'd be stopping at a gas station every 30 miles. Not to mention the driveablility issues and the potential for overfuelling damage to the cylinder walls.

If you are just installing another Eaton, the injector swap isn't that difficult and I would recommend doing it when you get to Chicago. Should only take about 30 minutes or so.
If you are going with a KB or something else, then that is a different stroy.

Yes, Dan, Im going to ported Eaton route for now. Can I change the injectors without removing the blower? If thats the case then I would definately wait till I got to Speed Inc. to do the swap.

I saw the other thread.
Anyway, yes only the fuel rail has to be removed.
I think the TB & plenum too, but I don't remember for sure. But that's only 4 bolts.
The blower can stay just as it is.
