Powdercoated whipple

Well here is how the story goes, I ordered a polished 2.9 and when it arrived it didnt meet my standards so i sent it back. Whipple tried polishing a new one and did about 5 inlets and came to the realization that it wasnt gonna be what i want so they said they would powder coat it and i told him if they get something close to sonic blue or if they could do it in wrinkle blue or some sort of silver. they powdercoated a cut blower half in something as close to sonic blue as they could get. if i got it done i would get the inlet, front and main case done and leave all other parts polished. what do you guys think? the pictures came out more blue than in person probably because of not knowing how to turn flash off. in person it has some purple in it.

yeah looks good man! is this going to be on the streets this season or what?!

Sadly this season i have been so busy working to afford everything that the car hasn't seen much time out this season. I will be ordering all my trans upgrades next week and hopefully putting them in in September sometime so i can break it in, rear end upgrades hopefully in late fall. Whipple, headers, fuel this winter. Suspension and brakes in early spring. Pump tune in late April. race tune July-ish. Its gonna be a long winter!

haha man, you have your whole next year planned! I was hoping to get a crack at that Eaton before it goes! ;) But with both of us having our cars down, that will be a little hard huh...

Good luck! If you need a hand, I'm literally less than 20 yards from you. I actually moved across the street from the parking lot. Does your roommate have any plans to follow suit into the "boost category"?
