Cant seem to get a good 60' at the track

Went to Byron today and couldnt pull better than a 2.0 60' on a 275 nitto drag short ram intake x pipe and cant pack stock pulley no tune what have any one pulled on a stock setup? and now it keeps locking me out of 2nd and 3rd gear any ideas why?

I have the 555rs stock clutch pretty much stock car and I'm launching around 4000 and slipping the clutch but all it does it bog on me trying to get used to launching with the IRS

what is tire pressure? I know I ran my mt's @ 15 at the track.

I also had airbags in the rear but i cant use them now with the solid

sounds about right with your technique. I only ran once stock and that was on F1's not sure what the 60' was.

I would say more rmp but with the IRS and a sticker tire ya never know. should do ok on the nittos though

I never broke a IRS axel with my 2.76 pulley car, and tht was on MT's but if you have a dfx and mt's ur gonna break.

I had my tires at 15 psi and couldnt seem to break into the 12's ive seen these cars stock with a trie going anywhere from 12.6 to 12.9 just cant seem to get the launch right thats why i was wondering what everyones techniques where

if it is boging give it more rpm and make sure your tires are hot. those nittos are not that stickey. I ran them for a bit. your correct with the slip.

today was NOT a good day to get your best 60ft... most cars were .10-.30 off in 60ft.. it took me 4 passes to make a clean hit, something that i normally do after 1 pass

Ya normally I can pull a good 60ft and was certain I was gonna be able to hit 12s the best I got was a 13.0 at 107 I saw your car bob and I must say it is very nice idk if u saw me I was the one with the torch red 04

my 60 was wayy off but I was so tired and aggrivated by the end of the day that I didnt even make a full pass and got out of it before the traps

you gotta slip the shit out of that stock clutch to get a good 60ft

nittos like to be warm... do a burnout till you see some good smoke.

That being said... if you were bogging and not spinning, then you should probably let the clutch out a bit faster or raise your launch rpm.

Ya I saw that caddy it was pretty bad ass he was actually behind me in the staging line most of the day

Like Brian said that was me, by the time I went to the staging lanes I was only able to make one pass all day, I sat there for about 3hrs because of that crash
