shifter for a 4r70w?

Hey guys, just curioius what you guys are running as far as a shifter goes for a manual valve bodied 4r70w?

All the ones im finding seem to be for 3 speed transmissions

LOL the OD on a 4R70W is controlled by a switch or momentary button. There is no 4th speed in terms of shifter engagement.

thanks buddy, i dont know crap about these transmissions, dont even have the valve body yet, just trying to figure everything out.

So basically i can use any type of shifter ment for a ford trans? and then just have a button that engages 4th gear latter?

Before I took my auto out I had a B&M Hammer Shifter. It fit right in place of the old shifter so I did not have to hack any thing up. Mine came with a switch on the side so I could wire up the over drive. Nice and clean, I loved it. B&M makes a direct fit for fox body mustangs. Check out the link below. I think summit racing has them fairly cheap. I also included a video of some one on Youtube shifting with one in a fox.
