ok i am trying to replace my turn signal switch. i have a 95 Chevy C1500. i have the steering wheel off and all but one plug unplugged. on the right side of the column is a black cylinder that has a plug from the switch. how do you disengage the plug? i think it is the cruise cancel for the brakes but im not sure. please help me im out of ideas.
there is a reason all three of my cars are GM products.ive had fords and dodges and even a dodge that didnt have any dodge parts on it except the embelms, but i went back to my roots a a good reason
. Not sure what anything on your steering column has to do with your brakes. I think you'd be better off asking this specific technical question at fullsizechevy as said.
i would think there should be a tab that you pull back and then pull the plug out. thats how every other gm plug works. do you have the new switch to look at?
