finally found a good deal on a set of slicks/wheels I can use with the IRS on the cobra. Not that my slow-ass car needs slicks... But the softer tire and bigger sidewall (not huge, but its enough) will help absorb the shock of the launch and hopefully aid in preserving my stock diff/half-shafts.
Its a totally different feeling, driving around on them...still gettin used to it, but i like it.

thank you sir. Yeah I dont want to imagine what it would be like in the rain.. Im sure these things wear quickly, so Ill likely be driving around on my street tires most of the time..Just had to test em out yesterday!

No, Slicks...i had a pair of DR's already..and they are decent..but not nearly as shock-absorbent as slicks.
