Octane booster (O2 safe)?

Any Octane booster you guys recommend? All i can find at local gas stations is STP but i have no idea how many points i gain.

I want to see if my Knock retard (KR) will go away with higher Octane but i dont want to kill my O2 sensor in the process.

What additive can i add on top of the 93 octan fuel i get?

The research I've done shows that octane boost is a waste of time/money and can actually damage stuff. As already stated, just buy a few gallons of 100octane or higher and mix with your 93 octane.

"100 points" is actually 1 octane so the highest I sell at work is 70 points which is ".7" octane so save your money and buy 2 gallons of race gas!

Actually, I retract the above statement. I would throw out all octane boosters with the exception of the torco octane booster. I guess some test said thats the only octane boosting product that is legit, all others suck nuts. So I would support torco octane booster, but I think it would be smarter and easier just to get the race fuel. Octane boosters are said to give you "hot Spots" in the fuel.

Maybe try different 93 from a different brand?

Go to the hardware store paint section and grab a gallon of Xylene/Xylol. Mix a gallon of it with 4 gallons of gas, and you'll come out with 5 gallons of 100 octane.

Or just find a Meijer because they have 100 octane unleaded pumps, or at least the ones down here do...

10 points is actually one octane, so your 70 point stuff is actually good for a 7 octane rating......I'd bet that shit is leaded

A perfect tune on a bad setup is still a perfect tune. Just because the car is knocking does NOT mean the tune sucks. Put a 3.4 on a mild bolt-on car, and tune it for a perfect AFR, it will knock. The tune is not wrong, the pulley size and boost is.

Tune first, pick pulley afterwards. I will never understand why nobody gets this.

The fueling may be right, but the timing may be too high, if it doesn't have the supporting mods, you will have to run very little timing to avoid KR..... Like I had to before my headers

I don't go over 10% throttle, cause I hate the sound of the exhaust hitting my car..... after the mounts, we will see.......my ltft's are all 0 though in the range I do drive in
