Went to test drive the car an hour ago...

not the best weather, it was dark, there was a lot of traffic and didnt know the area at all.

I think that is the best scenario to test drive a car, because even with all those negatives, i have nothing but good things to say about that car.

The car is very easy to get started, smooth engagement. it was a little tricky shifting gears because like MOST fords i have driven, its soft soft soft HARD HARD soft soft, so its a little difficult to find the precise friction point. I noticed this with Kamils mustang, Kyles cobra, and my SHO.

I guess im really just used to my Clutch which is basically even pressure throughout the length of the pedal. Just takes getting used to so its not a problem to me.

The car is VERY silent on the inside. Sitting at idle there is no vibrations, no high idle, no BS like that like my current car has. Steering is nearly telepathic. The slightest touch of the steering wheel its already turning.

Has a cool Key Fob feature where you dont need the key to turn the ignition, the Fob just has to be in your pocket. If the Fob is in your pocket and you are outside the car when it is locked you just have to walk up to it and press a little black button next to the handle to unlock that door.

All 4 windows are 1-touch down, and it has projectors with the xenon lights. It says bi-xenon (but i stand corrected) that the BRIGHTs are a standard halogen housing. However, you can move the headlights up and down with a little switch next to the steering wheel. I guess that is if you have a load on the back aiming your headlights up.

Even when wet out the salesman wanted me to get on it a little bit. First gear pulled really strong, i was not ready/used to that because i just spin in the cobalt. So i let off right away. It slammed me back into my seat.

The heated seats were just warm enough.. not too hot, not too cool.

Unfortunatley the seats didnt grab me like my cobalt did. I guess im just spoiled with the recaro's.

A plus though is it has 215/45/18 tires on there so i can swap over my 235/40/18 no problem.

The car was new at $32k. It currently has 7400 miles and is at $23980.

I will be going with paul (leddzepp) sometime next week to take another look at it during the day when its dry.

hate to burst you bubble a little bit though...that whole keyless entry thing. heard a lil thing on maxum radio about how theres onle about 100 codes (basicly 1 in 100 chance goin through a big dealer that it might work on another car...no good) but they said that you can download software really easily on the internet to steal the code and ultimately steal yo car - just figured id let you know -

other then that they kickass cars!
