Not a bad idea for someone who wants general protection and doesn't care about the slight appearance difference or someone who is going on a long cruise and doesn't want their front end nicked up.

I was thinking of using white plastidip for drag strip days and HPDEs since my car is white. Apply to 1/4 panels and bottoms of rockers near wheel wells to make easy clean up for brake dust from HPDEs and rubber from the burnout box.

But if this stuff is near as tough, I'd probably use it instead. Less visible than white plastidip.

I still think a clearbra application would offer more protection against rock chips though, stronger material is my guess. I could be wrong though.

• After spraying the coating, the texture looks like the surface of an orange. Will it self-level?
The orange peel texture is normal when the coating is wet and indicated the product has been applied properly. The coating will self-level to a smooth surface while it is drying.
