My wife's first taste of racing...

Today my wife drag raced for the first time; she ran her Camaro. She ran a best of a 15.02 @ 92.9mph with a .067 reaction time. I couldn't be more proud of her. I know she had a lot of fun and may be hooked!

I did manage to pull a 14.87 with 2.08 60' times out of it though. Not bad for a low mileage 25 year old mostly stock Camaro running 14 year old tires!

Her daily driver is the 99' Regal I've had for 11 years now. It'll run high 13's in street trim and I often hear about her little street/stop light victories in that car. It's no surprise how well she took to this. She added that she liked how the 7 second cars there would shake the ground and pummel her chest when they'd launch. How sexy awesome is that?!

Drive the car to the track with the wife. Two of you run some laps and have fun. Then drive the car back home w/out issues.

My girlfriend had an LT1 Camaro back in the day that she took to Byron a few times.

Her level of enthusiasm isn't equal with your wife's, but it is there for me to build on.
