Ranger or SHO?

Long and short of it, Which to I tinker with come spring and a new job?

ranger being a 98+ turns out is a drop-in swap for the 96+ Exploder V-8's

My ranger is also 300lbs lighter than my SHO, and is RWD. (the 2.5 4 banger and its A4LD Trans have 185K on them, but the truck is in really good shape otherwise... Trans probably only has another year left in it, if that)

DD the SHO, play with the ranger come spring? or just keep puttering around in the ranger, and play with the SHO?

I'm with Panda. IMO neither car is worth sinking a ton of money into. The Ranger because, well....it's a Ranger and the SHO because it looks like it's kinda beat to begin with.

I'd just drive the Ranger as it is and save money.

Yea, my SHO is a bit 'beat up'

Keep in mind, 'invest money' does not mean 'racecar'

If I put money into the SHO it would be suspension, bolt-ons, intake work, maintance.

If I put money into the ranger, I'd just buy a wrecked donor exploder, do the swap, and call it a day.

I can probably find a wrecked V-8 xploder for $700-800, toss in $200 for assorted crap

$1000 for a 90hp and 170tq gain with OEM parts I'd say is a pretty slick deal?
