i got a buddy with a g8 gt, tune catback and intake......as of right now i take him from a dig by a car and a half ( on a half finished Mike S. tune) but this guy might get some long tubes......what will i need on my modlist to keep making him mad and beating him? should i go IC genv or bite the bullet and tuck the snail shell under the hood?

for the guys running turbos....how far can you take the turbo setup b4 your tranny eats itself alive?

depending on the tune he has... if he adds headers.. you will need quite a bit more to beat him then.


FWIW with headers/x-pipe ONLY i ran a 12.9 at 109mph in my G8.. on the stock shitty GM tune.

dont bother with genV and IC. you're going to go faster with a turbo without spending too much more.
his G8 with headers and good tune is going to put a hurting on your car....go turbo if you want a chance.
