3800 ASS M90 Kit

Is anyone from the club thinking of getting the Ass M90 kit from ZZP Performance now that it's finally available? The grand total for the kit after core w/ new injectors comes out to 1209.97. Fish are you thinking about it? If so are you thinking about driving up there to get it installed so pcm can be up to par with other major mods done to you car? (250-300 for install) Does anyone have any opinions on kit?

Whats better for the GT the SC or Turbo? I would go Turbo, but thats just me.

well id say go with novi if yea wanna keep pretty much all stock cause its best on the tranny then SC add on has to hurt a lil then turbo should be same, Depends on what you wanna go for, iam in the same boat,, also with that price did you in clude Core charges or returing all the cores? cause id say about 2 g fo the kit after all said and done!

id like to see this kit though on a car looks very clean!

The Cobalt SS and Ion Redline run the supercharger belt the same way. FWIW.

so for that 1200 does it include the suporting mods needed for a GT??

The Cobalt actually uses a double ribbed belt (ribbed on both sides) for it's supercharger drive/ accessory drive system.

Props to ZZP on this one. You just can't beat that price for the kit.

As for supporting mods, I presume it assumes that you'll have the basic mods done (downpipe, colder plugs, U bend, intake, etc). You'll definetly not wanting to be running a DHP PCM with naturally aspirated timing tables.

Seeing how I already have all of these supporting mods, I'm definetly getting this kit its right on my budget. I might just wait a month or two to see how cars react with the kit.
