My friend has a 98 Trans AM LS1, Auto. It ran 13.5 bone stock.

Whos Z28 is this Mike, what is he saying about your car?

Ahhh nobody I can't handle. Hes busting balls on MYSPACE, but hes legit. He said he ran a 13.01 w/o the 4.10 gearing

4.10 is really not a good gear for the ls1. I dont' get why people would want to kill the top end.

Off the line he will be insane, but after 60-70 he will really start to slow down.

But yeah 13.01 is believable. Some have hit 12.9's stock.

ive raced two ls1's (gtp w/o togs) both autos, both with drag radials...one was 'stock' and one had slp lid and some sort of tuner that i had NEVER heard the name of before...both of them (gtp on drag radials on the street) were dogs out of the hole, but at about 65-70 they started gaining, and by 90 they were both out in front and at 110 when we stopped they were out by 3 cars (2 car lengths ahead) so depending on what mods you have and what kind of driver IMHO i would say the ls1 is going to take this...

This guy is talking all kinds of shit. He has 4.10 rear end with exhaust and thats it. What do you think a  good driver can run as well as a not so good driver

4.10 gears will help 6 speeds, and 3.73 for autos, i used a have a firebird, and that was the same info i was told when i was shopping around
