alright, first my goal was 13.9999 now its 12's. have ssic, james dean dp, stock cat, 3" cat-back, dhp, cai, 3.2/3.0 pulley w/ 0 kr. with that i ran 13.71 @101 but i am going to 66 next month and should run 13.5. so with that in mind.....

i want a cam, either VS or XP....car is a daily driver, but not abused everyday...i know when i do the cam i will do the whole valvetrain basically, but will just a VS cam w/ rockers drop a 1/2 a second or would i need to do the XP w/ like 1.6's? i was thinking VS cam, 1.6 rockers springs ect....w/ 3.0 pulley and 0 kr along with a 1.90 60' would be good for a 12.99999 pass? can anyone shed some light on the situation?

With PEM's, get the VSX cam or put 1.7's on the exhaust for a VS for max performance.

whats the vsx? by zzp? and you mean only changing the rockers on the exhaust valves?

u might need even less then that i mean i ran a 13.6 witha 1.9 and all i had was a 3.25 pully a intake plugs anda cat back, witha stock pcm, and rsa tires just practice driving with ur mods u should be lower then a 13.7, is yours a 4 door

and i hate ot break it to u but 66 has been closed for two weeks to the generl public(last test and tune) nhra ran this week end but thats it for this year, i know it sucks, but be carful mentioning 66 people trash talk that place alot , but next spring is gonna be fun there, at the beging of the season they do sat. test and tunes, not just tues, and wed

oh i didnt know that. then i will have to go to byron then. the first time i EVER went to 66 was this past saturday for nationals and i am so impressed with the set-up. with the mods i have, stock tires and race gas i was running 2.00 60's all day. but yeah its 4 dr, plus i am 275 lbs. so i have to take that into consideration....i have 104 plugs, i didnt really wanna drop down anymore than that...anyone think i will need to?

i dont know about 104's but i use ngk tr6's (2 stages colder)gapped at 54, and it helped me alot, do u strip ur interior out, cause ona 4 door u need all the help u can get, well its a slight disadvantage anyway, the front seati easy, and i know the rear on the coupe pops right out,and do u pull the trac fuse, the button only does so much, and whats ur front and rear tire pressure?

many people say the trac button itself doenst turn off the timing removal involved with the trac system, pulling the fuse i guess removes the whole system(not physicly)and it turns off the abs, so no power steering , i dont seem to mind the abs not being there

Power steering is still activated, the 'magna-steer' is what is disabled, most people wouldnt even notice it.

my system pulls timing still ,with the button on i noticed 2 degrees of timing pulled but i guess other variables come to play i was testing this back to back and iat's might of changed it cant hurt except for the arm exercise u get turnign with it pulled, i guess the abs system pulls it just so it wont harm the system, thats why u pull the fuse, noticed no problems with abs when i put it back in
