dude why are you putting the LS6 cam/springs in your car?
sell it and put a cam in there that will give you more of a gain than that of putting a lid on your car.

any medium sized cam on a 114 or higher LSA will idle pretty much like stock

do a 224 224 with a .563-.583 lift on a 114 to 116 and you will be grining ear to ear, and if you have a quiet exuast you wont even be able to tell its cammed.

i have a little less than 2 years ona factory warranty so a GM part won't ruin my warranty....that is the only reason.

Just because it is a GM part, doesnt mean GM will warranty it. If they wanted, they could make you take your car to the dealer to install it, thus ripping you a new ass just so your warranty will cover it. FWIW.

I already called and asked them. According to Village Pontiac in Naperville, "As long as it is a GM performance part, it will not void your warranty."

I could even put the GM Hot Cam, which is a bigger cam and keep the warranty...but i think that would be too big for me. I don't want anything huge.

2001 LS6 cam
207/217 int/exh @ 0.05" duration
0.525" / 0.525" int/exh lift
116 LSA 2002+ LS6 cam
204/218 int/exh @ 0.05" duration
0.551" / 0.547" int/exh lift

I have the 224/224 from speed inc and it sounds real mean........you can tell its cammed but you have to listen for it.


Tell you the truth I wish it was just a pinch bigger......maybe 228 or so...


It came from speed inc..............check their website on it.......


The stage 2 heads the guy added latter put another 30hp on the car.....
