3800 Race with '05 Mustang GT VS 97-03 GTP

Those GT's are faster than most think...........

but with those HEAVY mods on the GP, it's not really a fare race..........

A better race would be a Stock 03/04 Cobra Vs. That Modded GTP you described.

I've got to go with the Mustang on this, sorry guys. At high speed CI rules all, just the laws of physics.


PS: JET, I got a ZZP hat this weekend with only $20.00 for an entry fee. Did you ever get that $1500 for the hat you had. If you did, I might try selling mine. :lolsign:

yeah I didn't want to get flamed, but that is what I was going to say and what i meant by "faster than most think"

I raced one in my Trans Am, and I never had a mustang stay kinda close to me (3 cars or less) ever. I was very impressed, and I'm sure the thing was BONE STOCK.

I raced one in 30 degree weather. I was stopped, he was rolling about 5-10 mph. I popped off the line then let off. I like to let someone get a lead then blast past them. I did everything to just get even next to it. Shocked to say the least. I just minutes before was running down a farm road with a g-tech meter, and I got a 12.8 1/4 mile, so I figured I was hot shit when the Mustang pulled up.

GTP all the way there was one a us 41 oh some months ago he was running 13.5 stock with slicks... not very imprissive

i agree

even though its at 100+ i think it would be tight

perhaps someone should try this?

i have beaten 2 05s from a small roll but i stopped around 105.

0 to 60 from dead stop. GTP all the way.
20 MPH roll, have to go with the Mustang. Most of the try to come out too strong. They sit there and smoke.
I think the Mustang has the best sound around. And they are fast. But, never lost to one from a dead stop.
