i forgot where i filled up, but i wasn't paying attention and put 89 in the car. the car feels like crap, i am getting knock now. i can't wait to drain this tank.

Keep your foot off the pedal and youll be fine. Flooring it is just asking for a chipped piston. I have often used 89 with ethonal for long road trips.
Well why not just throw a can of injector cleaner or water remover in. As long as your not racing it should be fine. If your really worried buy some octane boost.
If you want, I have a crapload of octane boosters here at the house. My Dad drops them off to me all the time, and I never use it. I also have like 10 bottles of gas line anti-freeze, and 4-5 bottles of windsheild washer ant-freeze too..from the same source, LOL.
ya ron, maybe i'll take some of that octane booster if you still want to run the car tonight. i don't want to go wot with that crap in there. i kind of forgot i had 89 in the car.

syp - it's ok, i have just been cruising around. i still have the knock gage, so if i end up accelerating to hard, i can see if i am going into knock, which i haven't.
