3800 Would this be safe?

Mike K suggested that i MAY be safe to run a 3.1 pulley. I get no KR with my 3.25, and he suggested 3.1? I know the best way to find out is to scan it with a 3.1, but i would like to hear your input first.

It couldn't hurt to try it, especially if you have no knock with the 3.25. You may even want a 3.1 for the track with race gas.

no, it wont hurt anything. If you have kr, you take it off. Or run a colder plug and change them more often. A few degrees of knock isnt going to harm your engine. The pcm will pull timing, and everything will be kosher. I say go for it. If you need a tap let me know. I can come out there and we can run it down butterfield.

on race gas in cool weather you should be fine.

with pump gas youll likely get some knock, but as stated the pcm will pull timing to make up for it so you wont hurt anything.

In that case... any1 have a pulley puller and a 3.1 laying around i can test out on, to make sure if i wanna buy it? I know its asking much, but its wortha shot.

What he said......Then blend some 100/race gas if nessessary.....I cant see why more GP owners dont run WI.....?? But thats not the issue here.

Just have a media of monitoring KR.

Running liquid through the supercharger is not good for the impellers. That and water injection is a system that has to be refilled. People like the "Ronco" principal of "set it and forget it" that closed intercoolers provide.

I wouldn't run race gas. Of course you won't get knock with race gas. Put in premium and switch the pulley and then determine how much (if any) knock you get.
