i have most of the upcoming events here eagle. i'm not signed up for any of these yet though. what are you guys planning on going to?

I was thinking about hitting Blackhawk on the 16th... but then again I'd like to go with a couple folks I know. I'm open to ideas!

it's a great group of guys that put these events on with plenty of very knowledgeable instructors ready and willing to ride along and help.
you missed out yesterday though! couldn't have asked for better weather or track conditions.

yep I'm sure from dedicated locations, but you take a hot lap with seasoned driver you will become a full blown driving addict

I put myself in novice I may bump myself back down or ask an instructor to ride for some laps as I've only driven 1/2 ABCC

great choice! you'll get very informative classroom time to learn where and how to pass, how to corner on the track, etc. you'd be a fool to miss it.the instructors are great and will help you get faster throughout the day. there's nothing wrong with being in the novice group, especially if it's your first track day. you don't want to be the asshole that's in the wrong group holding everyone up because your ego is bigger than your skill set

besides, you can always ask to be moved up into a different group. if you're out there making an ass out of yourself in intermediate, they will pull you off the track and dick slap you into the novice group

I have 2 full days at spring mountain and have tracked ABCC and gingerman out this way so far, learning the line is #1 and a refresher on the flags is always a must

I want to go back out to spring mountain for continued training but sooooooo spendy

i like the south
not the biggest fan of north
sure shows in my laps too. i'm a mess around it even though in theory i think it should be simpler? i gain on people in south who gain right back on me on north though.

I enjoy north more in our underpowered rx7.. that long straight though with the full course killed us..

Trying to get things worked out to make that 9/21 as I have an october race with lemons. Need brake pads for the mazda 3 though since the Z is being a dick.

the end of that one is just many i have a problem with, like i'm not really how sure how hard i should brake and turn into that one. or the next 2 turns. it's probably my worst part of the entire course.

i can probably make 9/21 too although i think i need to jump on some brakes all around.

I'm pretty sure I've only run the south section of the track, it wasn't full blown HDPE because it was dealer sponsored but still a blast and there wasn't a cost thanks to the nice sales mgr (esp since I didn't even buy from them )
