The stock blower is not small by any means. It can support some serious numbers.

Saw this yesterday. Still on a stock blower.

Starts out at 19# or so and about mid pull goes down to 15# with some belt slip.



Nick speaking of the cams in relation to their Super Stock Cobra Jet cars.

We are forced to use the stock TVS and 2.911 pulley in our Stock/SuperStock cars. We needed to figure out ways to squeeze out every last drop of horsepower to stay competitive and within the rule specs. These cams were just one result of this R&D.

It goes to show you there are many other ways to make power other than slapping on a big blower and boostin the hell out of the motor. Optimizing what you already have with porting and the right cam grind is key. Now if you combine that with the correct size blower for your application then you will be a force to be reckoned with.
