Well. It runs. And seems to idle just fine. Got an annoying squeek, sounds like it's coming from the tensioner idler pulley.

So when it gets up to temperature, it started surging bad. O2 sensors weren't right, so I got those all squared away, and now the surging isn't there, but it now dies just about the same time the thermostat opens up and won't stay running after that. Runs fine if I open the throttle a little bit. And when it's running its not rough or anything. Not sure what to play with.

Nevermind think I got it worked out

I tried to see what is under the hood but didn't see it posted. I'd open up the throttle plates. If anyone messed with it like when you said it had a booster leak, if now fixed it would need idle air.

I put in a 302 out of an 88. It has GT40 heads and intake. Stock shit everywhere else. The booster only seems to bleed vacuum when I press the brake pedel.

The alternator was making a loud squeeking noise so I swapped it for the one i had in the garage from the old engine. And now it doesn't die at temperature.

Unfortunately I think I hear what sounds like a knock in the engine. I took a chance on it. Might have gambled wrong.
