Son has Fiesta totaled - Next car suggestions?

Fiesta ST and Focus ST would both be fun options. Fiesta will be a little cheaper to buy, insure, and operate (cheaper tires, better mpg). The Focus ST can be a bit of a handful with the torque steer for an inexperienced driver. The Fiesta ST would be a bit easier for a younger driver, in my opinion.

And you can still go nuts like [MENTION=10534]P40E[/MENTION] and have a 12 second ride.

Eric learned to drive on my 6 speed, 510 rwhp, aftermarket clutch Cobra and my work trucks so I'm not concerned about his ability. He got blindsided into a curb, had a front tire blow and got the Fiesta stopped without drama.

Focus ST is the most practical fun car on the market to drive every day. I would take one over a v6 mustang all day long. Hatchback is just so useful vs a tiny backseat and tiny trunk of a mustang/camaro.
