How much of a pain in the a$$ was it to remove the valve covers? Was the motor out? I want to get mine powder coated but don't feel like removing the entire brake assembly to remove them.

The motor was in the car when the valve covers were done. You don't have to remove the brake booster to get the driver's cover off. All you have to do is loosen the driver's side motor mount and jack the engine up a little bit and it comes right out. Let me know if you want the name of the company that did the powdercoating.
