^ This. I've been playing NES, NES, and S/G for the past few weeks and it seems like a lot of the time I am just like, meh.

Old bump.....but why? Isn't eBay a decent gauge of the market? If it's not, what is, Craigslist? Gamestop? Amazon?

I know its not an unwritten rule across the board, but for me, if I want to spend ebay prices in person, at a flea market, or even on message boards/facebook sellers market, Ill just shop ebay and be done with it. At the end of the day, the guy on ebay is making less and I can shop from my computer. Not waste my time searching different areas of the internet, or spending money and time going to a flea market.

FWIW, a sega genesis and cd combo, model 2, sold on ebay for 85. No games, but hence why I said it better have some rare games, or multiple games.
