BTW, Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven was the Stairway to Heaven of the '70s.

Nope

Drinking age went up. Seat belt laws came into effect. Helmet laws. Cars sucked. Music was all over the place. Thiller was a hit about 6 months after I had stopped listening to that album, so that really sucked. Hair styles sucked. Clothing sucked. Only good thing about it was finally killed off disco. And MTV didn't suck.
