I didn't get a chance to play much last night. With Jeff's tune I was stuck in the low 6.3 / high 6.2 range, @ 223. 60' times were just above 1.00. With the 10.5 or full slick. With the changes below I now cut 0.945—0.965 60' times. The full slick is more consistent buut similar times with either tire. The launch is easier to get the 1-2 shift right and better 60' times. Especially on a full slick. The 3rd gear ratio change helped with the big drop in rpm on the 5-6 shift and immediately showed a 2 mph gain.

i put my/phil's tune in a friends GN last night and couldnt seem to get it into the 6.1xx range.. but was 6.20s all night long. not sure why.

Try changing the gear ratios like I have now. My MPH picked up immediately.

The lower boost settings on launch would be a good thing to try as well. It helped my 60' times picked up with that as well.

you need to cash in on those 40 tokens you have!!!

I have no clue how this is played. What do the tokens get me?

Try shifting at different rpm. Upwards of 9K, just over 9K, just below 9k. Just to see what it likes. I know this game is hard to be consistent with because it is so damn hard to hit the shift points the same every time.

I can have a 6.12 pass then have a 6.32 pass the next pass because when I let go of the launch button my tach freezes for a split second then is instantly over 9500. And I can't shift quickly enough to get the rpm below 9K and the pass is way off the one before it. From the 60' all the way down.

My 60' sucks no matter what I do it seems. Shift 1-2 at 8500, 9k, 9500. Tried shifting at 8500-ish for all my shifts, tried 9k, tried 9500.

Just seems like if I lower my launch point or raise it I still spin hard off the line. Tried lowering and raising wheelie bars.

Are you running Jeff's tune up or mine? On a full slick or 10.5? Maybe try swapping to a full slick if you are running the 10.5 to see if it changes anything with the same tune.

Try lowering your launch RPM a couple hundred RPM. See if that helps. Where you can see if you are overpowering the tires or not leaving on enough hp. If it improves you can try less rpm again or lower the boost at the 7K set point. See what happens there.

Because it is hard to be consistent with this game, I say make 3-4 passes with each tune change. To make sure you don't have one bad run and make another change that makes things worse. I notice the boost setting at 7K seems to make a big difference on how the car leaves. So I think this game is looking for very specific points to get the most out of the ET/MPH.

I hate playing games, this game aggravates me, but yet I kind of enjoy it and the challenge. lol
