I just had an employee put def in the gas of a 2016 dodge Cummins and we had to have the injectors replaced, all fuel lines, and both fuel pumps ... $22k unbelievable!!! I’m not sure of the amount he put on I would guess more than you did but may be worth having them drain the tank!
