Ya, "Hot V" is not a new term. Not a common thing but growing in different appplications, as KJ pointed out.

Growing up I loved seeing pics of those F1 and other race cars with headers in the valley. So cool.

A buddy almost made his twin turbo, 396 SBF, in his mustang reverse flow. Just to show off and trip people up at shows. He didn't do it, but totally should have. haha

Outlaw I agree. Your search skills would help tremendously. As would being able to work on the car. I think the biggest issue you would face is lack of a lift, which I am sure you have hookups for, and specialty tools. So many of these late model cars have special tools. None are cheap. I am sure finding one to borrow for a Ferrari would be really hard unless you know a mechanic that works on them.

I agree with the Vantage parts bin making it a smarter choice for a potential purchase of a car with issues. But then again, those cars might get repaired more often because it is cheaper. Then say a Ferarri that someone is even afraid to go to the dealer and see the estimate.

Not too bad, didn't know these were in that price range yet. An Elise wouldn't suck either, those can be had in the mid 20's.

You know I never paid too much attention to these before. But they've been popping up on my radar more and more lately. I didn't even know they were still making them  But used ones arent that ridiculous in price, and even with the older ones I think the styling is aging well enough. And it uses a frickin CAMRY engine. You wanna talk about a motor thats dead nuts reliable and has plenty of cheap replacement parts. And who the hell knew a camry engine could sound good?? I actually think I want one.
