Pretty boring..... but all I have currently... the drive one I only maybe did
30% ish if that throttle... doesn't take much at all...

I haven't done WOT yet is why no video :)

PRJ down here now.. we played with car to get ready for tomorrow.

Dunno but the between the strut tower brace being back on, and adjusted the
AGX Struts to 4... I could go over 50% and wasn't all left/right down the road
violently... I think I go to 80% ... :)

Torque steer much?

The TR suffered from the same fate. I fixed it by going to nearly three degrees of toe in so that when you floored it the car would go straight because the wheels would be at near zero degrees toe.

Now with the new all heim joint suspension installed it's far more stable at just .2* toe in on the street tires.
I haven't tried it with the Slicks yet but im hoping that it doesn't need more than 1* now.

Nobody cares about the stupid TR anymore.

Just passing along some observations/fixes for that same issue.
If someone had done the investigating/testing before me and shared the info then we wouldn't have a pair of fucked 400$ slicks.

Its a paint marker, vice grips, 7/8" wrench to add toe in to test... and set it back for the drive home/street mode

Cut n paste from fartbook...

Dyno day has come and gone for the Whipple car...
Drove up... beat on it... drove home.
Very, very, very happy with the results... The old 537whp was with no exhaust on the car. This had full exhaust on it, super hot, muggy, and some issues.
The alternator needs replaced... voltage starts to drop as your on it. We could only take it to 63xx rpm before break up.
MSD DIS4 is garbage and causes the car to shut off we think. So that was disabled.
Belt slip still happens... bounces around up high. Can see the tensioner in the video. Got to 20-21 psi .... so few more lbs of boost maybe eventually if can cure belt slip?
So lots left on the table as we planned to spin to 7000 as it was still making power... more timing to add as no KR at 18* timing....
All in all... extremely happy with the results.
Also... Getting a balance/alignment done, putting on the front strut tower brace, and setting the AGX Struts to 4 cured ALOT of the issues of being all over the place at low boost.. now I can go into a ton more and its pretty controllable now... :)
Thanks to Paul Jerkatis for the work and Greg Pritt for selling me the car to play with ;)
More to come soon .... Still gotta get the nitrous working one of these days .... get new alternator on... maybe few more PCM tweaks and go from there. No idea on the belt issue... gotta do more thinking on that....

nice numbers i bet that cars a blast on the street

Yah its pretty fun.. to much fun...

It drives around like an m90 car... if just puttering around.. still responsive
and all that. Doesn't take much to make it move out.

Figure if get the voltage issue fixed .. little more timing... change lower
pulley to a bigger one ... and get it to constantly do 24psi, and get it
wind out again back to 7000+ rpm that could tap that 600whp mark...

Still lot of power left on the table.

Before it was almost anything into boost was all stupid like... now I can
almost go WOT and keep it under control.

Little bit more work, and will be perfect street cruiser..

Got an alternator on order coming
Got some ground wires I wanna clean up while replacing the alternator
Change the lower idler pulley

Gotta do some research on fixing this belt slip. I want more and constant boost :)

Carbinite Metal Coatings

I had my new pulley done, but obviously the car isn't back together yet so I can't really report on how much it helps.

Paul and I were talking about them Saturday as a possible option.

Looks like the only downside is more belt wear over time... but
that isn't a huge problem really.

calling them Tuesday .... then probably have a new pulley ordered
and shipped to them to do the job and see what happens.
