Pulled the engine last night. First time doing that. It was awesome. Big Thanks to @Dasfinc to letting me swing by his crib and borrow his engine hoist.

Next Steps:
Get heads cleaned. Maybe fluxed and decked.
Pull trans and have it checked out (ran fine just got really hot , like 230*).
Buy/Install Rack and Pinion
Send out P/S pump for rebuild
Drain old fuel
Buy/Install fuel pump
Buy other crap (used headers)
Source engine
Re-gasket Engine

When I pulled my first 3800 by myself I was really surprised to easy it was to do. Mine had AC and all of that as well and I THINK I had it ready to pull out (was also turbo) in about 4hrs.

Anyways, congrats on getting the motor out!

Took the engine apart some over the weekend. Found a few metal shavings in the pan but otherwise no visible carnage. Piston rings looked brand new. Everything looked so mint. This old L67 had another 200K easy. Maybe I'll run it again? Also pulled the trans out. It was running fine but getting hot. It's a Jasper rebuild although 10yrs old. Gonna take it to a place to get looked at. Was thinking of contacting Redline.

Got in touch with Daturbosix and drove the transmission over to Redline Powertrain in Batavia. Chatted with Carl. Should be all set in a couple of weeks. I have no deadline for this.

Working on the heads now. I made a thread on here, asking for advice on a shop but I think I will save the money and just clean them myself. Inspect for cracks. The car ran stock all its life so they should be good.
