How to prevent trailer sag.

Mine had chains, not a bracket like that.
I had no choice, I was towing with a Chevelle wagon, and it hit the deck when you loaded the trailer.
Now I'm not saying the brakes were working perfect, it was a long time ago, but I didn't know any better, and it was the only trailer I could afford.

When I bought a brand new, much lighter trailer with electric brakes, I still used the hockey sticks, but probably had a much safer combination.
I usually drive like an old lady when towing, so very few emergency braking issues.

I took off the "Z71/HD" rear springs and put on stock. Truck looks normal again. Don't worry I kept the bags.

I even tried staying up to a GOOD 11-11:30P trying to push that wake-up time back and didn't work. Been waking up between 4-5a last 4-5 days, averaging 4-5 hours sleep max.

I would die in a rather short amount of time... although I can say I've been struggling with the same issue on and off the last few months. Mainly because Fred has been crying in the EARLY mornings for God only knows why - which wakes me up. Been awake today since 4:30 myself.

Ever since the Carli suspension (3" lift) went on, the truck sags when I put any load in the bed or pull a trailer.
