The Batman has a new director. Matt Reeves, who’s best known for directing Cloverfield, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and War for the Planet of the Apes has signed on to direct and produce the film in Ben Affleck’s stead.

Welp, if Ben decides to leave (which is looking more and more like he will), your new Batman is Jake Gyllenhaal.

The guy is a great actor, puts everything in his roles (much like Bale) but I dunno if I see him as Batman.

Someone told me there was a rumor that Don Draper might be Affleck's replacement. I'd take that over Gyllenhaal

Jake has been thrown around A LOT and now it seems all but "confirmed" as hes the choice if Ben bails.

Like I said, great actor but I see him more as a villain than the hero.
