Investment factor? Luxury cars take a huge hit in depreciation. Not a great investment to me.

The wealthy write them off for tax purposes.

The few people I know with cars in the $100k range...all paid cash, except one guy I know that leases a Mercedes S550, but lives in a $250k house.

Ford hand picked customers for the first run of these. Most of the people who got them have huge amounts of social media followers. As well as proof that they can afford the car. With out knowing the cost of the car. So Ya, not sure how a dealer can sell one unless the dealer owner was picked.

The acceptance and rejection letters were pretty cool.

I really like the looks of the car but man what a price increase. fucked up. $350,000 increase over the old body style. I liked it when it was somewhat obtainable by an upper middle class person. it was like a ZR1. didn't have to be a millionaire but it was still a special car not everyone could afford.

You are probably right But 1/4 mile isn't a true comparison. The GT isn't built to do just that.... I think it is designed to make some turns while going very fast.

I doubt they'd race you in fear of your heap's roof flying off mid race and damaging their car.

Seen that happen many times with c6 zo6's....very sad.
