If they're going to let this guy out on bond, he better not be caught behind the wheel of a car. If he's caught driving, he should immediately be escorted to jail. Though that might be a condition of his bond.

If I spot this guy driving in traffic and don’t have my wife or daughter with me, I’m going to put the Suburban into him....

Pi$$ed at Dupage

I can't even put into words how angry and upsetting this is. This is despicable that 1) the bond was not more to begin with and 2) it was not raised after the petition. How much more careless and irresponsible do you have to be to get any actual punishment. As a resident in Dupage county I'm disgusted I have to pay taxes to this. I don't see why I should travel at all in Dupage county if they will allow it to be this unsafe with no punishment for wrong doing. This man wants to see how fast his car can go, so instead of going to a race track, let me just head down a regular road at raceway speeds. Then crashes into an innocent girl who actually survives the violent crash to then just suffer an unimaginable death of burning while screaming for help. Yes Dupage, this man should be out with the public. My thoughts are with this poor girls family that hopefully at some point there will hopefully be some justice served to this family for their terrible loss.

So, do I dare ask... Are you related to, or a friend of the deceased?

The reason I ask is why would you take the time and effort to find this thread and then go through the process of registration, to make that post.

Not that any of us disagree, just seems like a lot of work.

I actually am not. I did not know this young woman or any of her family. I can't specifically tell why this incident has touched me so much but it has. I'm simply a resident of the area . The sheer situation and this man's actions following the incident and things he said to police showing how irresponsible and careless he was just really got under my skin. So when I saw the story yesterday about how he was able to bond out I just really needed to vent on the continued aggravation of the disappointment in the justice system. I can't even imagine how I would feel if this was someone I knew and now the man responsible is out.

I had actually initially found this thread after it first happened when I had been looking for news on what the situation was that occurred that day.

That's ONE of the monsters that share the world (for now) with us. Imagine if you knew about all of the other ones. Sadly, this is the world we live in, the only thing we can hope for is this guy to get the punishment he deserves. Unless that poor child's parents or someone close to her gets a hold of him first.

So maybe I'm confused or don't understand what some people are thinking... but yes he's out on bond but he'll still have his court date and reap consequences for his actions. I don't think (unless I'm very mistaken) that he posts bond and then that's the end of everything and this goes away.

I think the issue is, is that he was even given a chance at bond. Which means he's back out and "free" again in the regular world. Could he run? Could he go drive another car at an excessive rate of speed into someone else? This guy doesn't seem to have a great track record with decision making, so...

Before I even read that he got bond, I would've expected something well beyond his means of equity. Something at least a 1/4 million. Put it just out of his grasp and keep him locked up until the trial.

This guy has already killed 2 people, in 2 separate vehicular homicides, and he's STILL out among the public, and possibly driving.

That should anger EVERYONE greatly, not just a few people. This justice system is so incredibly fucked up that i almost wish a family member, or someone associated with one of the 2 people who were killed, would take matters into their own hands.

I wasn’t trying to imply it didn’t anger me or I thought it was fine. Just trying to clarify he wasn’t off the hook so to speak. Absolutely ridiculous that bail was so low for someone with prior offenses and clear disregard for the law.

That's speculation, and apparently you have no experience with hypoglycemia/ diabetic shock.

Apparently you don't know that this guy has a previous vehicular homicide charge prior to his name change.

This guy isn't right, and has now taken the lives of 2 people, the most recent time just blocks from my house.

Feb 22nd is his next court date, I'm still sick that he's walking free.

Apparently you don't remember that you made that post before that info was known.

Regardless, people suffering from severe hypoglycemia act exactly like that. Many people have been arrested for suspicion of DUI when they were actually having a medical emergency. People suffering from hypoglycemia also emit a fruity aroma in their breath, that's easy to mistake for alcoholic beverage aroma. Same with strokes and aneurysms, people really have no control or idea what they're doing.
